Hi there!

My name is Jan Evets and I will make your jaw drop with my copywriting. Or, at least I'll try to!

I'll have to warn you though that I'm a newcomer. And I don't want to get your hopes up. You see, I was actually an SEO specialist and content writer for four years before I decided to shift careers.

I'm just starting my copywriting career so that must mean I don't know how to convince people, right?

And that means I can't craft copies as seasoned folks, right?

Nope! Copywriting is a skill that one needs to practice to get better. Now, experience is an amazing teacher so no shade to the veteran copywriters. And hey, if they aren't good then they wouldn't be copywriters for so long.

What I'm simply trying to say here is that I'm good at this craft. Not the best, sure. By now you're bored and you want to know if I could help you.

I once offered a free service in exchange for a testimonial. It was also an opportunity for me to find out if my service works. The free service was that I create lead magnets and promote them through direct response copywriting.

Now, back to the topic at hand. Quantum Fortress, a cybersecurity company, wanted me to use my direct response copywriting skills to promote an upcoming webinar. I didn't have to create a lead magnet because they had their own.

The objective of my service was to gather as many attendees(those within the industry and small to medium-sized businesses) for a free webinar that Quantum Fortress will be hosting and to increase brand awareness.

Here's the exact copies, more or less, that I used to promote the webinar.

Horison Marketing Copywriter Test

The next ones are from a test that I did for Horison Marketing. They thought the copies were nice so I decided to put them here too!

Scenario 1: Digital Marketing Agency Targeting E-commerce Businesses

Task: Draft a cold email to online retailers, offering a free SEO audit. Showcase the agency's expertise, and results achieved for similar clients, and propose a follow-up call to discuss findings and solutions.

Output:

Subject: Get More Traffic with Our Free SEO Audit!

Hi [Name],

Did you know that [Website Name] could attract even more visitors? It’s already a great website with quality products and a beautiful design, but it needs a solid SEO strategy to reach its full potential. And that starts with an SEO Audit.

Normally, we charge $200 for our E-commerce SEO audits, but we’re offering it to you for free – no cost at all!

You might be wondering, why you?
